They are used to avoid misunderstandings and clarify the costs, risks, and obligations of both parties in international transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fran\u00e7ais:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Les Incoterms sont un ensemble de termes commerciaux internationaux qui d\u00e9finissent les responsabilit\u00e9s des vendeurs et des acheteurs pour la livraison des marchandises. The buyer bears all costs and risks involved in taking the goods from the seller&#8217;s premises to the desired destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fran\u00e7ais:<\/strong> Le vendeur met les marchandises \u00e0 disposition dans ses locaux ou dans un autre lieu convenu (usine, entrep\u00f4t, etc.). L&#8217;acheteur assume tous les co\u00fbts et risques pour transporter les marchandises jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 la destination souhait\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>FCA (Free Carrier)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>English:<\/strong> The seller delivers the goods to the carrier or another person nominated by the buyer at the seller\u2019s premises or another named place. The risk passes when the goods are delivered to the carrier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fran\u00e7ais:<\/strong> Le vendeur livre les marchandises au transporteur ou \u00e0 une autre personne d\u00e9sign\u00e9e par l&#8217;acheteur dans les locaux du vendeur ou \u00e0 un autre lieu convenu. Le risque est transf\u00e9r\u00e9 lorsque les marchandises sont remises au transporteur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>CPT (Carriage Paid To)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>English:<\/strong> The seller pays for the carriage of the goods to the named destination. However, the risk transfers to the buyer when the goods are handed over to the first carrier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fran\u00e7ais:<\/strong> Le vendeur paie le transport des marchandises jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 la destination d\u00e9sign\u00e9e. Toutefois, le risque est transf\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;acheteur lorsque les marchandises sont remises au premier transporteur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. <strong>CIP (Carriage and Insurance Paid To)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>English:<\/strong> Similar to CPT, but the seller also contracts for insurance against the buyer\u2019s risk of loss or damage to the goods during the carriage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fran\u00e7ais:<\/strong> Similaire au CPT, mais le vendeur contracte \u00e9galement une assurance contre le risque de perte ou de dommage des marchandises pendant le transport, \u00e0 la charge de l&#8217;acheteur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. <strong>DAP (Delivered at Place)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>English:<\/strong> The seller delivers when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer on the arriving means of transport, ready for unloading at the named place of destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fran\u00e7ais:<\/strong> Le vendeur livre les marchandises lorsqu&#8217;elles sont mises \u00e0 la disposition de l&#8217;acheteur sur le moyen de transport d&#8217;arriv\u00e9e, pr\u00eates \u00e0 \u00eatre d\u00e9charg\u00e9es au lieu de destination convenu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. <strong>DPU (Delivered at Place Unloaded)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>English:<\/strong> The seller is responsible for delivering the goods and unloading them at the named place of destination. This is the only Incoterm where the seller is responsible for unloading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fran\u00e7ais:<\/strong> Le vendeur est responsable de la livraison des marchandises et de leur d\u00e9chargement au lieu de destination convenu. C&#8217;est le seul Incoterm o\u00f9 le vendeur est responsable du d\u00e9chargement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. <strong>DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>English:<\/strong> The seller is responsible for delivering the goods to the buyer at the named place in the country of importation, including payment of all duties, taxes, and other charges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fran\u00e7ais:<\/strong> Le vendeur est responsable de la livraison des marchandises \u00e0 l&#8217;acheteur au lieu convenu dans le pays d&#8217;importation, y compris le paiement de tous les droits, taxes, et autres frais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. <strong>FAS (Free Alongside Ship)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>English:<\/strong> The seller delivers when the goods are placed alongside the ship at the named port of shipment. The buyer bears all costs and risks from that point onward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fran\u00e7ais:<\/strong> Le vendeur livre les marchandises lorsqu&#8217;elles sont plac\u00e9es le long du navire au port d&#8217;embarquement convenu. L&#8217;acheteur assume tous les co\u00fbts et risques \u00e0 partir de ce moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. <strong>FOB (Free on Board)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>English:<\/strong> The seller delivers the goods on board the vessel nominated by the buyer at the named port of shipment. The risk passes to the buyer once the goods are on board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fran\u00e7ais:<\/strong> Le vendeur livre les marchandises \u00e0 bord du navire d\u00e9sign\u00e9 par l&#8217;acheteur au port d&#8217;embarquement convenu.
